    Why owners choose Bunney’s

    • Arizona-ready builds – Mix design, curing, and joints tuned for extreme temperatures and monsoon moisture.

    • Precision execution – Laser-guided grading, tight flatness/tolerance, and clean embeds/anchorage layouts.

    • Integrated trades – One team for earthwork, Concrete Flatwork, Concrete Repairs, and site utilities.

    • Lifecycle support – Sealing, repairs, and Facility Maintenance to keep pads in spec.

    What we build

    • Equipment & machine pads – Reinforced slabs with embedded plates, anchor bolts, and vibration/isolation details.

    • Generator & transformer pads – Elevated or curbed pads with conduit stub-ups and oil containment options.

    • HVAC & chiller pads – Level, vibration-resistant bases with housekeeping pads and coordinated penetrations.

    • Tank & utility pads – Secondary containment berms, coatings, and non-sparking finishes as required.

    • Loading/working slabs – Aprons, pump pads, and staging areas tied into Concrete Flatwork and drainage.

    How we deliver (standard workflow)

    1. Plan & layout – Review loads, embeds, conduit routes, and tolerances; coordinate with structural/electrical.

    2. Subgrade prep – Proof-roll, moisture condition, compact, and place base course to spec.

    3. Form & reinforce – Set forms, vapor barrier as required, rebar/fiber, dowels, and block-outs.

    4. Place & finish – Controlled placement, consolidation, surface finish (broom, trowel, or non-skid).

    5. Cure & protect – Curing compounds/blankets; edge protection; strength verification.

    6. Closeout – Core tests as specified, as-builts, and O&M guidance for sealing and joint care.

    Arizona-specific considerations

    • Thermal cycling – Joint spacing, dowel baskets, and mix design to manage shrinkage and heat gain.

    • Soils & drainage – Caliche/collapsible soils addressed with proper subbase, moisture conditioning, and positive drainage.

    • Durability – Sealers and coatings to resist UV, chemicals, and abrasive traffic; dust control during construction.

    Integration with site work

Pair your pad scope with Trench Backfilling, Duct Bank, and Conduit Excavation for a coordinated install and cleaner schedule.

    FAQs

What information do you need to quote a concrete pad?
Loads/equipment data, plan dimensions, embed/anchor layouts, finish type, and any coating or containment requirements.

Can you install conduit and embeds before the pour?
Yes. We coordinate sleeves, stub-ups, and anchor bolt templates with your electrical/mechanical team.

How long before the pad can take full load?
Typical structural cure is 28 days; interim loading may be possible with strength tests and engineer approval.

Do you provide sealing and maintenance?
We offer joint sealing, surface sealers, and periodic inspections through our Facility Maintenance programs.
