    Asphalt vs. Concrete—Choose What Fits

Asphalt: Flexible, quick to install, ideal for large lots and phased work. Options include polymer-modified mixes for high heat and heavy traffic.
Concrete: Rigid, long life, excellent at dock aprons, dumpster pads, and high-turn areas; bright surface improves visibility and heat reflectance.

Our Build Process (Built for Arizona)

    1. Assessment & layout – traffic patterns, drainage, subgrade conditions

    2. Grading & base prep – moisture-conditioned, compacted aggregate to spec

    3. Paving & compaction – tight density control, proper lift thicknesses

    4. Joints, curing & finishes – saw-cutting (concrete) and edges (asphalt)

    5. Striping & ADA compliance – stalls, routes, signage, and cross-slope checks

    Keep Pavement Performing

    • Crack sealing & pothole patching

    • Sealcoating and surface rejuvenation

    • Mill & overlay for tired asphalt

    • Re-striping, signage, and traffic-control updates

    • Drainage fixes that prevent ponding and edge break

    FAQs

What types of projects do you pave?
Parking lots, private roads, loading yards, drive lanes, equipment pads, and ADA access routes for industrial, commercial, and municipal sites.

Asphalt or concrete—how do I choose?
Asphalt is cost-effective and fast to place; concrete excels under heavy/static loads, high turning stress, and heat. We’ll recommend based on traffic, subgrade, budget, and lifecycle.

How long will my project take?
Small repairs: 1–2 days. Mid-size lots: typically a few days. Full reconstructions may take 1–2 weeks depending on phasing, weather, and inspections.

Can you work without disrupting operations?
Yes. We stage work in phases, set up traffic control, and offer night or weekend paving to keep your site open.

How do you handle Arizona heat and monsoons?
Heat-rated mix designs, proper compaction windows, drainage-first grading, and weather-aware scheduling to protect density and surface finish.

Do you handle striping, signage, and ADA compliance?
Yes. We provide pavement markings, wheel stops, tactile warnings, signage, stalls, and slopes to current ADA standards.

    What maintenance do you recommend?
Annual inspection, prompt crack sealing, and periodic sealcoat or surface treatments. Concrete joints should be sealed and spalls repaired early.

How soon can traffic return to the surface?
Asphalt: light traffic in 24 hours, heavy trucks after 48–72 hours (weather-dependent). Concrete: typically 3–7 days based on strength gain.

Do you manage permits and inspections?
We coordinate required permits, compaction tests, mix tickets, and city inspections as part of our turnkey delivery.

What kind of warranty is included?
A written workmanship warranty; materials are covered per supplier specs. We also offer optional maintenance programs to extend pavement life.
