TSMC Firewater Project

Bunney’s Inc. achieved a milestone by safely excavating/backfilling over 19,000 feet of C900 fireline at TSMC Fab 1 and Gown Building. With no lost time or recordable injuries across 22,000 man-hours, we delivered the project on time and within budget. The successful collaboration with 15 trade partners and coordination with 200 subcontractors showcased our unparalleled teamwork and efficiency.

WPPP Unit 1 and 2 HRSG Foundation

Bunney’s inc was able to successfully complete the Unit 1 and 2 concrete foundations additions during a tight window for APS. Again Bunney’s inc safety was exceptional on this project with no recordables or injuries. The team was able to successful dowel over 250 #8 rebar into the existing foundation and pour over 280 yards in a 4 day period. The team was efficient and allowed APS to load the structure 4 days ahead of schedule due to Bunney’s ability to complete the work without rework and passing all inspections on the first try. The client was extremely pleased with Bunney’s attention to detail and quality of work on this project.

(SRP) Santan Valley Generating Station Oil Water Separator (OWS) Installation

At SRP’s Santan Valley Generating Station, Bunney’s Inc. tackled equipment reliability issues by replacing an oil-water separator (OWS). Faced with an environmental concern about potential tank leaks during excavation, our solution involved careful side excavation and switching to mechanical excavation. The result was the safe removal of the OWS tank, demonstrating our commitment to environmental safety and effective problem-solving.

APS Water Resources’ Facility Acid Tank Replacements Unit 2 and Unit 3

In addressing Water Resources’ chemical injection system, Bunney’s Inc. excelled in replacing deteriorated sulfuric acid tanks, piping, and associated components. Despite challenges with specialty valve lead times, our team proactively devised a contingency plan, reinstalling old valves for timely project completion. Plant engineering approved our method, ensuring safe and on-time results, showcasing our strategic problem-solving approach.

Palo Verde Cooling Tower Renovation and Repairs

Bunney’s Inc. excelled in the Palo Verde Cooling Tower Renovation, navigating the nation’s largest power producer’s 17th refueling outage. With precision, 718 tons of material were removed, and 164,214 components replaced. Zero dropped items and recordable injuries underscored our commitment to safety. Challenges were met with streamlined approaches, while a thorough new hire process ensured excellence. The project was completed within the 18-day window, showcasing our dedication to efficiency and safety.

2018 APS Sundance Power Plant – Ammonia Tank & Piping Replacement

In 2018, Bunney’s Inc. excelled in the APS Sundance Power Plant – Ammonia Tank & Piping Replacement project, demonstrating expertise in plant operations. Managing the installation of two 15,000-gallon ammonia storage tanks and associated piping within a 40-day window, our proactive approach and value-added engineering mitigated challenges, ensuring a safe, on-time, and within-budget completion, exemplifying our commitment to excellence.

3R21 Palo Verde Generating Station N1 Polar Crane Replacement Project

Bunney’s Inc. played a pivotal role in the 3R21 Palo Verde Generating Station N1 Polar Crane Replacement Project, supporting Konecrane to enhance safety and modernize existing cranes. Despite challenges, including a tight 14-day window, our team, with 18,000 man-hours and a 24/7 schedule, successfully completed the project within budget, attesting to our efficiency, expertise, and commitment to safety.
